If water is coming into your home right now, call (602) 339-9540. Emergencies are prioritized. If you cannot talk, text the same number with your address and a photo.
What counts as a roof emergency
Call right away if you have:
- Water dripping or pouring through a ceiling, light fixture or wall
- A ceiling that is sagging or bulging with water
- A section of roof covering torn off by wind
- A tree limb or debris on or through the roof
- Storm damage with more rain on the way
If you are unsure, call anyway. We would rather tell you it can wait until morning than have you guess wrong.
Stay safe while you wait
- Keep people away from sagging ceilings and wet areas near electrical fixtures.
- Turn off power to any circuit where water is near lights, fans or outlets.
- Contain the water with buckets, towels and plastic sheeting.
- Move valuables, electronics and important papers out of the area.
- Do not go on the roof, especially in the dark or in wind and rain.
- Take photos for insurance once it is safe.
What emergency service includes
The first goal is to stop water from getting in and keep the damage from spreading.
Emergency tarping
A roofer secures heavy-duty tarps over the damaged area and fastens them so they hold through wind. Tarping protects the home until a permanent repair can be done in safe conditions.
Temporary sealing
For smaller openings, such as a lifted flashing, a broken tile or a failed pipe boot, the roofer can seal or patch the area temporarily.
Damage documentation
The roofer photographs the damage and notes what they find. That record helps your insurance claim and the permanent repair.
Permanent repair plan
Once the roof is secured, you get a written estimate for the permanent repair, whether that means replacing tiles, flashing, underlayment or a damaged section of roof.
Storm season is emergency season
Arizona's monsoon season runs June 15 through September 30, and winter storms bring their own wind and rain. Storms can blow up in minutes, with gusts that lift tiles and peel shingles, followed by heavy rain. Many emergencies trace back to small problems that were already there: a slipped tile, a clogged valley, a cracked vent boot. Want the full list? Text us for our free storm-season roof checklist.
After a widespread storm, demand for roofers spikes. Calling early, and texting photos, helps us prioritize the most urgent situations.
Insurance and emergency repairs
Most homeowners policies expect you to take reasonable steps to prevent further damage after a storm. Emergency tarping often counts. Keep receipts and photos. Coverage depends on your policy and the cause of damage, so contact your insurer once the home is secure. See storm damage roof repair for more on the claims process.

Frequently asked questions
How fast can someone get to my house?
It depends on the time, the weather and how many emergencies are active after a storm. We give you an honest arrival window when you call, and we prioritize homes with water coming in.
Can you repair the roof in the rain?
Permanent repairs usually wait for dry conditions. During rain or high wind, the priority is tarping or temporary sealing to stop water from getting in. The permanent fix follows.
Will insurance pay for emergency tarping?
Often, when the damage is from a covered event such as a storm. Keep photos and receipts, and check with your insurer.
